In this video, the 4 students have used skills learned in Section 3 to evaluate the information found in various databases on a journal article, e-books, anatomy and drug information, etc. They have now come up with a batch of most relevant information that they will use in their community health project assignment which comprises the creation of patient education materials and the writing up of a project report.
They meet to discuss what information they should use to fulfil the information tasks. The issue of properly citing sources of the information used also comes up as a skill that they also need to master to avoid plagiarism.
This course presents the overarching framework, principles, and core responsibilities of public health research and practice from a multidisciplinary perspective. The course also provides the necessary foundation for further studies toward advanced cross-cutting approaches essential for public health practice.
In this video, a team of students preparing for a group community health project on the topic “overuse of hands and arms”. The project is a student learning activity of Problem-based Public Health module in the MBBS curriculum offered by the School of Public Health. The team is required to deliver patient education materials and a written report on the topic they decided.
