Soil Trust project is addressing the food waste issue by experimenting with eco-friendly farming practices and community involvement. Soil Trust also develops the Growers Without Borders service learning program. By combining eco-friendly farming practices with creative community involvement, Soil Trust promotes sustainable land management and tackles the critical issue of food waste. Through the program, people from different backgrounds participate in farming practices that help the environment, using kitchen scraps to enrich the soil.

Chang Ha-Joon, Reader of Cambridge University once said, people tend to think that economics is difficult, and should be left for the experts; even economists share the same mood, it should better be left to us!
Nevertheless, everybody engage in economic activities everyday. Can’t we just understand economics with common sense? Suffocated by technical jargons, can economics really help us to better grasp economic reality? Or, are they merely chicaneries misleading the whole world……including top government officials who often suffer from Intellectual disability?!
It is time to awaken, and let us demystify economics together!

The design guide is written with practicing structural engineers in mind. It emphasises professional applications, placing great emphasis on ready-to-use materials. It contains formulas and tables that give immediate solutions to common questions and problems arising from practical work related to composite columns. The design guide also provides good detailing practices for typical joints between steelconcrete composite columns and other structural components. Guideline is provided to select matching concrete and steel grades for the design of high strength composite columns. Special considerations for fire resistance design, fabrication of high tensile steel sections, and preparation of high strength concrete are emphasized. This design guide will endow structural engineers with the confidence to use high strength materials in a safe and economic manner to design and construct high rise buildings.

It covers key notions of logic such as consequence and validity of arguments, the syntax of truth-functional propositional logic TFL and truth-table semantics, the syntax of first-order (predicate) logic FOL with identity (first-order interpretations), translating (formalizing) English in TFL and FOL, and Fitch-style natural deduction proof systems for both TFL and FOL. It also deals with some advanced topics such as modal logic, soundness, and functional completeness. Exercises with solutions are available. It is provided in PDF (for screen reading, printing, and a special version for dyslexics) and in LaTeX source code. "This book is based on the idea that there is a particular framework used by economists to interpret observed reality. This framework has been called the economic way of thinking, the economic approach, and the method of economics. This book is different from the many other books that attempt to teach microeconomics in three ways: It explicitly applies the recipe of the economic approach in every example

"The AutoCAD 3D eBook was written as a tool to guide and teach you to master AutoCAD. No two students learn at the same pace, therefore the eBooks were written with competency-based modules. The competency-based modules are bite-size pieces that allows you to work at your own pace. They can be used to learn by distance education, correspondence, online, instructor-lead classes, or by individuals teaching themselves to use AutoCAD in their own home or office. This eBook was designed to be used on AutoCAD software that was designed for the Windows operating system. An editable, Pressbooks version of this textbook is under development."--BCcampus website.
