As part of the BBC World Service, BBC Learning English has been teaching English to global audiences since 1943, offering free audio, video and text materials to learners around the world.
From our mobile English courses in Bangladesh and Latin America to our online offer for millions of Chinese learners, BBC Learning English provides multimedia English language teaching materials to meet learners' needs.
Many of our materials are delivered as full length courses but each component of the course is standalone and can be studied on its own. This means the learner can choose the best way to study for them; by following a full course or by following the individual materials most appropriate to them. This websites provides me with lots of english learning materials, like grammar practice, speaking skills video, and story video for enhancing listening skills. I almost went to their websire to learn english every week, and I gradually improved my english. Therefore, it is very useful for some students who can insist on keeping watching their video and doing practices every week.
BBC Learning English is extremely practical and useful for students. It contains many topics, including exam skills (IELTS or school exams), job interviews, school life, or even masterpiece appreciation such as Shakespeare. Each individual course is short and saves time, e.g. 6 mins- 10mins, which is very suitable for the fast-paced world of the 21st century.
It included word news distribution. A comprehensive learning English platform includes courses such as English my way, Shakespeare Speaks, 5 days to become a better listener, Quizzes etc. Moreover, it teaches grammar through “6 minute grammar (basic)”, basic grammar reference, class etc. Vocabulary and pronunciation are also covered which inspired my language learning.
