Bonus Lesson 1.1 Process Types
In this video I outline the basic process types in English. Process is an experiential function of the verbal group. In functional grammar, we understand that verbs may have different functions - they are not only 'doing' words but also words of 'thinking', 'feeling', 'being', 'having', 'saying' and more.
The youtube video has explained the process types of experiential grammar, which is quite an abstract concept, in a rather simple yet clear manner. The best thing about it is that it provides abundant examples to elaborate on each key concept, which lecturers might not be able to do due to time limits. The simple visual illustrations have also helped me to grasp the main idea easier.
